Abstract
Objective : The objective of this research is to conduct a 6 week study on two groups of Idiopathic Scoliosis patients - Unstable Supporting Surface Lumbar stabilization exercise Group and Stable Supporting Surface Lumbar stabilization exercise Group; and compare the results on the patients' Body Composition Change and Extension force.

Method : This research was conducted on 6 random Idiopathic Scoliosis patients undergoing physiotherapy at ChunCheon H hospital from February, 2014 until March, 2014. The patients were divided into 2 groups - 3 undergoing Unstable Supporting Surface Lumbar stabilization exercise training and 3 undergoing Stable Supporting Surface Lumbar stabilization exercise training. Both groups trained for 40 minutes a day, 3 times a week, for 6 weeks. Measurement tools used were Inbody 720 & Con-trax. The difference between the two groups were before test and after test.

Results : After 6 weeks of experimentation, the Unstable Supporting Surface Lumbar stabilization exercise training Group showed a more significant difference in Body Composition Change and Extension force.

Conclusion : It can be concluded that Unstable Surface Lumbar stabilization exercise training is more effective in enhancing the functions of Idiopathic Scoliosis patients.
